On Tuesday, November 23, the annual Locals Show at the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art marks the soft opening the holiday/winter season in town. The hard opening is Wednesday, December 1, when locals turn out in force for Noel Nite, a pre-Xmas sale event and joyous reunion for those who had left our box canyon for the fall off-season travels, Telluride Inside… and Out included.
Jagged Edge is a favorite stop on the tour of Telluride’s retail outlets. And this year, owner Erik Dalton, recently returned from the Himalaya where he accompanied elite mountaineer Ben Clark on his ascent and ski descent of Thorung Peak, has stocked his store with all the gear from his trip as well as other goodies for a very Merry Christmas. Among the choice items: Basecamp “Straight Jacket” Ski Vest, Fydelity Coolio Cooler, and Dynafit Stoke Skis.
