David Byars and Jenny Jacobi left last year's Mountainfilm with the same inspiration and desire to do good that many take away from Telluride's film and philanthropy festival. Not wanting to lose this feeling, they began a serious campaign to find a way they could give their time in a meaningful way. This trajectory has sent them overseas into sub-Saharan Africa to a small mining town with big problems. Each Thursday they will post about their enterprise on Mountainfilm's blog.
