29 Sep Your Ah Haa Moment: Adult classes in the Fall/Winter 2010/11
[click “Play”, Rachel Loomis Lee talks about the adult programs at Ah Haa]
Fall in Telluride is a time of transition. There is a subtle shift in the light: skies are a deeper shade of blue and night happens suddenly, clear and chill. Arctic blasts of autumn winds interrupt the last warm days of Indian summer and remind us to put up our bikes and pull out our skis. The acoustics of the Fall are different too: every sound is crisp. And aspens burn like vigilant torches, guarding the landscape day and night. In Fall, the welcoming warmth of Telluride’s Ah Haa School for the Arts acts as a buffer from the long shadow of the winter about to come. Once the winter season begins in earnest, Ah Haa is a great place to come in from the cold.
With over 90 adult classes and 20 classes for young people, including many taught by nationally renowned Visiting Artists, there is something for everyone. Not to mention the exhibits and special events.
