20 Sep Sam Bush Tuesday on Telluride Inside… and Out, 9/21/2010
Telluride Inside… and Out regulars have been treated to a weekly visit with Sam Bush for the past several months. This post will be the last of those visits for a while, until Sam has the time to go back into the studio and record a few more videos.
Sam is going to be busy in the next few weeks. The International Bluegrass Music Awards Show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium is September 30, 2010, part of the World of Bluegrass which runs from September 27-October 3.
Sam will deliver the keynote address on September 27, and he and his band are nominated for 5 awards, including "Best Album" for "Circles Around Me", Mandolin Player of the Year, and "Best Song" for "The Ballad of Stringbean and Estelle."
Telluride Bluegrass Festival fans will see lots of familiar faces on the Ryman stage that night. Jerry Douglas is co-host, Sam and his band will be performing, as will Del McCoury, Darrell Scott and Dan Tyminski.
