15 Aug Wedding bells for former Telluride local: Hilbert now Mrs. Thomas
Telluride is small and isolated. So, is growing up here limiting?
Not for Samantha Hilbert, who, along with her NBC Sports team won an Emmy last September for coverage of the Beijing Olympics as an associate producer for Sportdesk.
Recently Samantha won another prize: his name is Charlie Thomas.
Samantha Hilbert and Charlie Thomas were married June 19, 2010, at the home of her grandparents, Ron and Joyce Allred in Maui, Hawaii before 90 family and friends from New York, Telluride, Texas and Australia.
Samantha and Charlie met at Tufts University and had been dating five years before their engagement last November. The couple honeymooned in Kauai before returning to New York, where Charlie is a Senior Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers and Samantha Hilbert Thomas is still at NBC Sports.
"We are thrilled to be starting our married lives together, thank our family and friends so much for joining us for our wedding in Maui and look forward to a trip home to Telluride for New Years!"
