It’s guerilla art Telluride-style.
Six regional artists have seized the moment, mounting the 2nd annual Art from the Heart show for the crowds in town for Phish, August 9 – August 10. The event takes place at the Spruce Street Mall on Colorado Avenue next door, appropriately enough, to the Telluride Music Company, 201 East Colorado.
What you see is what the name suggests: Art From the Heart implies a passion, not necessarily a profession. They are not seeking fame. It’s all about a love of the game. Participating artists may not have fat resumes, but they share a will that expresses itself in a variety of mediums from jewelry to glass and wearable art.
