10 Aug Sound and Light: Phish in Telluride
It didn't look too good in Telluride this morning for the final Phish concert. It pretty much rained out our mushroom hunt up at Lizard Head Pass, and it wasn't sunny until late afternoon. But by time to head for the Telluride Town Park for the concert, there were just a few puffy clouds. It made for a spectacular Telluride sunset, definitely a rival to the wonderful light show going on onstage.
The evening was warm, the crowd mellow, the music Phish. Hard to imagine a better setting for the much-anticipated concert. Telluride Inside… and Out will be posting our take on the event, but we wanted to give our readers a heads-up while the night was fresh in our minds.
