04 Jun Telluride Balloon Festival, June 5, 6
This weekend, June 5 & 6, is the annual Balloon Festival in Telluride. Weather permitting, the hot-air balloons will begin inflating in Telluride's Town Park at 6:30 am, with launch between 6;45 and 7:00 am both mornings. The past few days the air has been still in the early morning, so perhaps we will see the balloons flying. Weather is always a factor in our tight mountain valley.
Tethered infalation will take place Saturday evening in front of the New Sheridan Hotel between 8:00 and 9:30 pm, again wind and weather permitting.
