Sam Bush Tuesday on Telluride Inside… and Out, 6/8/2010

Sam Bush TV is excited to present part one of an in-depth interview with Sam as he describes how he became interested in acoustic and bluegrass music living in Bowling Green, KY; watching music on TV as a youngster; his first band experience; and being inspired by young Ricky Skaggs.

Sam travels back in time, reminiscing about his early years in school and visiting Roanoke, VA, for the 1965 and 1966 Roanoke Bluegrass Festivals in which he saw performances by The Stanley Brothers, Jim & Jesse, Bill Monroe and The Bluegrass Boys, Doc Watson, and The Country Gentlemen. Sam also describes the first time he met Tony Trischka, David Grisman, and many other lifelong collaborators.
