Next week, Wednesday, June 9 – Thursday, June 10, Telluride-based The New Community Coalition and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation International offer a comprehensive and engaging building science and green building training session featuring Justin Wilson of Building Performance Solutions, a nationally renowned green and building science speaker/trainer.
Session topics specifically include:
• Introduction to Green Building Elements & Why it Matters
• Building Science Principles & Why 3rd Party Verification and Testing is Essential
• Water Management and Building Durability
• Energy Efficiency &Thermal Envelope and HVAC Improvements
• Indoor Environmental Quality
• Material and Resource Use
• ENERGY STAR for New Homes Compliance & Field Demonstration
The Building Science & Green Building Seminar targets builders, remodelers and trade partners, architects and designers, code and other city/county officials, utilities,energy/green consultants and verifiers, non-profit and other program managers, appraisers, lenders and realtors.
