Dog’s Best Friend: Working with Rowdy

Telluride Inside… and Out has been following the training of Ted Hoff's dogs at Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel for the past several weeks. In this week's video Ted shows us that he also works with other people's dogs. In this case, we have Rowdy, a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Notice how Ted uses the same repetition techniques we have witnessed in other situations, and how the goal is to have a quiet, confident dog, with verbal and physical rewards for proper attention to the task.
