The Pisces/Virgo Full Moon and the Collective Chaos of our Co-Creating Cosmos

“When the gods are crazy, when the world seems to have gone insane, when there seems to be nowhere to turn, we have to look inside our own hearts to find what is true, what matters, and what can never be taken away.” – Stephanie Austin, The Mountain Astrologer, Issue #149 Feb/Mar 2010.

Turqsea Returning from Mexico and jumping in to the process of “re-entry” here in los Estados Unidos – the United States – I am impressed by the whirling, swirling creative chaos of our current cultural condition and conditioning. Living without a television or an internet connection, in a land of swaying palms and breaching whales, I seem to have lost touch with the fast-paced paradigm of American life.

Don’t get me wrong, I'm loving my DSL, satellite TV and gourmet kitchen. Our humble home feels like a mansion after two months in either a camper or a casita with my XL husband and three big dogs.

SnowSpruce It’s nice to relax beside a crackling fire and watch the Winter Olympics as snowflakes paint the mesa white. I’m happy to be home. I love Colorado and its blue-white mountains, majestic bald eagles and soothing hot springs. I’m thankful and grateful to be right here, right now. And then, there’s the reality of an extended sabbatical: piles of junk mail and bills – thank goodness I paid everything in advance – multiple issues of Newsweek, other magazines and catalogs, and even Christmas cards. Catching up on the news, I return to the war in Afghanistan, the health care stalemate, Obama’s sheepish acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize, the worldwide economic recession and the important, ongoing phenomena of Brangelina.

Explo_earth_jup Everything seems crazy and upside-down, interconnected, in chaos, crisis and catharsis. So very, very appropriate for these Aquarius/Pisces times of millennial knowledge, new age enlightenment, spiritual transition, physical transformation and collective metamorphosis. Pisces is the last sign of the tropical zodiac, the alpha and omega of the cosmic wheel. It is here we merge into One, accept all that is – as it is – with a compassionate heart and evolving soul, experience divinity – inside and out – and swim in the ocean of a co-creating cosmos. It’s crazy, yes, chaotic, for sure, and humbling to say the least. But, here we are, living and breathing on planet Earth, in a land of you are me and I am you. As above, so below.

May the Feb. 28th Full Moon manifest the magical dreams of Pisces via the healthy routines of Virgo, bring order to the chaos and clarity to the vision. Good luck!

Aries (Mar. 21-Apr.19)
The Pisces/Virgo full Moon of Feb. 28th brings issues of chaos and order to light and Jupiter amplifies them. Creation is divine and it’s often necessary to lose oneself in the process. Loosening boundaries to let it flow and yet maintaining the skill to manifest is key. Balance intuition with organization, open receptors but stay grounded in the here and now.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
You may discover yourself in an entirely new and exciting group of friends or associates as Jupiter joins the Sun in your solar 11th house of collective hopes and dreams. Inspiration is the name of the game now and it’s imperative that you surround yourself with people who inspire and excite you. Look for competent role models and get to know them.

Gemini (May 21-June 21)
Don’t be surprised if you’re the sudden recipient of a professional award or career advancement. As Venus pairs up with lightening-quick Uranus and good luck Jupiter conjoins the Sun in your solar 10th house of achievement, the cosmos favor recognition. Remember your roots and cultivate humility as you step to the podium and accept the prize.

Cancer (June 22-July 22)
A potent pack of planets in numinous Pisces encourages Moonchildren to expand and explore when it comes to education and enlightenment. Spiritual and intellectual realms promise great rewards to those willing to commit to a practice and stick to a program. Visit the library, ask questions and find information. Read and research, live and learn.

Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Magnetic Mars is stationary direct at the zero point of Leo and will resume forward motion Mar. 11th. From now until then, be as calm and cool as possible. Tie up loose ends, put finishing touches on pet projects and get everything in order. This unusually long transit is a divine test of will. Pure motives, a loving heart and generous spirit guarantee success.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
Multi-dimensional opportunities in partnership and a variety of multi-faceted personalities present themselves this week from which to pick and choose. While you may feel as if you’re finally getting what you deserve, recognize that this is an unusually rich blend of people and possibilities than may not come again. Seize the day and make hay.

Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
While you continue to scratch the surface on a two-year Saturn cycle with ideas of self-discipline and personal achievement, Jupiter has entered your solar 6th house of work, service and health. This makes for a potent week of insight regarding future paths. Pay attention to feelings and intuition, dreams and fantasies. Focus on clarity and follow your heart.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Romantic and creative opportunities continue as the zodiac’s planetary benefics shimmer and shine love and great good fortune down upon you. To keep it flowing, you must practice non-attachment and let go of expectation. Live totally in the present and trust the universe to deliver the perfect and appropriate outcomes. You’re responsible for the effort.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
You may be surprised at how easy it is to let go. Family vendettas and childhood resentments dissipate in the light of loving kindness and compassion. Test it out. Take the step, make the amend or forgive the trespass. Why hang on to madness, pain and sorrow when you can live a life of emotional freedom and spiritual liberation? Make the break.

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
‘Big picture’ guys and girls need lots of help to get the job done and manifest the vision. This week you may discover just how important workers and organizers are as the universe presents you with several options to expand your world and explore the globe. Write, discuss and communicate in cyberspace as you surf the interconnected web of life.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Mental Mercury and numinous Neptune conjoin in Aquarius as planets gather in Pisces and the Moon grows full in Virgo. All this translates as a potent and powerful time to identify your dreams, map out a plan and prepare to move forward. Self-love is essential to self-confidence, and you must cultivate both. Beauty loves the Beast, find your heart and live it.

Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20)
As the Sun conjoins Jupiter and Venus holds hands with Uranus – all in Pisces! – count your blessings and follow your lucky stars. You are being gifted with a time of golden opportunity, when a big smile and a happy heart are all you really need. Cultivate a positive attitude go in the direction that feel best. Good generates good and like attracts like.
