Your Ah Haa Moment: Kindermusik and Salsa

Ulli, a long time Ah Haa instructor, begins teaching the next installment of the Kindermusik series, Sign and Sing, on Wednesday, January 20, at the school. The program, consecutive Wednesdays, is now scheduled from 11 – 11:45 am, a change from the times listed in Ah Haa’s catalog.

Sign and Sing, which targets three months – 20 months with caregiver, is all about speeding language development in hearing children by leveraging a visual dictionary of over 60 signs.

Ulli Sir Jesse started teaching music and physical education in Germany in 1971. She moved to the U.S. in 1983 and to Telluride in 1986, where she continues to teach private lessons in piano, recorder, and guitar. Off hours, she sings her way through life, performing with several local groups.

In 1999, Ulli Sir Jesse became a certified Kindermusik instructor. She remains excited about the way the discipline that incorporates music and movement marries children and music for life. Kindermusik is a life cycle program for the very young, offering four different courses for four different kid age groups.
