A new collaboration premiered Thursday evening at the Wilkinson Public Library in Telluride. Bob Rubadeau approached TIO early in December with the idea of having a self-publishing section within Telluride Inside… and Out.

Scott Doser, program director at the Library, Amy Cannon of the Telluride Writers Guild and Between the Covers Bookstore got on board. The first get-together brought out over thirty people interested in learning how to get published once they have something down on paper (or on their Mac).

IMGP0900 This first meeting of Your Book Biz was an overview of the pathway to publishing, with an emphasis on self-publishing. The long term idea is to harness the talents of this right-brain community in order to create a viable literary center in Telluride, then send it out to the world in the form of books.

The next meeting at the program room at Wilkinson Public Library is Wednesday, February 3, at 6:00 pm. The outlines from each session will live on the TIO website as a sub-domain, TelluWriter hosted by Telluride Inside… and Out. Watch for the launch.
