Telluride Inside…and Out's dog expert, Ted Hoff shows us the ins and outs of training a young dog, in this case his young Lab female, Mai.

Notice that the main elements of training according to Ted are praise (not treats), consistency, and paying attention to the body language of the dog. By being in tune with the dog, one can set her up for success, so that praise, not the threat of punishment, is the motivator.
