It’s mid-December and I’m headed to Mexico. My husband and I rather suddenly decided to spend a couple months south of the border in Baja California – shining example of how “no major planets retrograde” can manifest action. (Mars goes retrograde on Dec. 20th, so this will change.)

Aries (Mar. 21-Apr.19)
Ruler Mars goes retrograde on Dec. 20th and slows the pace of holiday hustle. You may feel feelings you haven’t felt for a while, especially in matters of love and romance. Be as generous of spirit as possible. Release resentments and understand your own warrior spirit. Consider the concepts of peace and war. Shine your light on goodness and be good.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
The Sun reaches its furthest southern declination on Winter Solstice, Dec. 21st. This heralds the return of light and has been celebrated for millennia as a day of grace and gratitude. Embrace your own nature spirit in the home of heart and hearth. Light candles and kindle fires. You needn’t travel far to find joy. Be with family, laugh with love, shimmer and shine!
 
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
As the Sun moves into Capricorn, feelings deepen and relationships intensify. Money, sex and death are subjects of contemplation and emotion. Enjoy the fluff and fanfare of the holidays, but know when to leave a party or end a conversation. A romantic or creative challenge portends a breakthrough. Be impeccable with your word; do your best.
 
Cancer (June 22-July 22)
Planets in Capricorn tip the scales toward other people, outside influences and social life in general. Relationships are a reflecting mirror of who you are, what you think and how you feel.
