10 Aug Telluride Library hosts barbecue
Telluride’s Wilkinson Public Library was the host and location for a community barbecue on Friday, August 7, 2009. The occasion was to celebrate the Library’s selection as a National Five Star Library.
Program director, Scott Doser told me food had been ordered for 300, but Telluride turned out in force and re-supply was necessary. But with food, wine, beer, soft drinks, music, the scene was one of convivialty and community spirit. People danced, talked and generally had a good time.
For the younger set, face painters were on hand, and most of the kids sported facial decoration in addition to the catsup and mustard.
