Mike Farris opened Sunday Bluegrass and the crowd sang hallelujah

IMG_3163 Out of the gate, Father's day at Telluride Bluegrass went way big.

The Big Daddy in the sky got his Hallmark card early in the form of a cracker – more like firecracker – from Nashville, name of Mike Farris.

Mike Farris & The Roseland Revue played the gospel set and the crowd swallowed hair of the dog and sang hallelujah.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival co-director Craig Ferguson was kissed by an angel when he found Mike Farris. We all pray he brings him back.

Amen.
