24 May Telluride Adaptive Sports Program: Summer activities
On Monday, May 18, staff and volunteers from TASP met the crew from San Juan Outdoor School at the Bilk Creek Wall for some climbing instruction. TASP is adding climbing to its Summer schedule for people with disabilities. Monday's session included training in safe belaying techniques, proper equipment use and inspection, rope safety, and a chance to climb under the supervision of the pros at SJOS.
TASP's Summer program will also include rafting, hiking, cycling, as well as some overnight trips. There is also a major trip to Alaska planned. Stay tuned for more information.
