Visible Planets: Morning: Mars and Jupiter   Evening: Saturn

Tap in to the Warrior Spirit of Aries-Aquarius and Go Forth!

Tomahawk-Indian This week we have some rather interesting astrological aspects at work in the cosmos. Here on Earth, we are dealing with international economic crisis, global warming, national recession and our own individual processes of breakdown, breakthrough and ultimately, resurrection and rebirth.

One of the reasons I love astrology is because whenever anything is happening in my life or anyone else’s – including the collective experience – I can find it constellated in the cosmos. Ever since my first awakenings to this “divine science,” I have been stunned and surprised by it’s synchronistic accuracy and metaphysical mo-jo.

Humanity today is at an incredibly advanced new beginning, which is an absolutely Aries-Aquarian kind-of-thing. We have come a great distance from our primordial birth to a place of mind-boggling technological invention. And what now? The planets [Pluto now in Capricorn, Saturn in Virgo opposite Uranus in Pisces and Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron conjunct in Aquarius] say it’s time to transform our entire way of perceiving reality, defining our physical world and structuring economies, governments, leadership and authority in general.  If we don’t want, agree or go along with this metamorphic change, be prepared, it will happen anyway. It’s like a global tsunami, a collective cataclysm or an asteroid from outer space. We have no choice. Acceptance is the answer. So as the Moon waxes this week toward full on April 9th, take a deep breath and tap in to the courageous spirit of Aries the Warrior. Fight for right and battle for justice, truth, honesty and integrity. Good luck and may the Force be with you.

Aries (Mar. 21-Apr.19)
Pluto’s ongoing square to Aries and love planet Venus retrograde in Aries dampens the rising force of spring a bit and instead offers the Ram a more realistic and measured approach to initiative and desire. Naiveté and enthusiasm must be balanced with wisdom and restraint. Recycle, repair and remove decay from existing structures and relationships.

Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
The waxing Moon encourages inner searching and illumination via feelings and emotions. Realistic, patient, practical and material by nature, you are not usually attracted to metaphysics or spirituality. But, this week the golden gifts of intuition and insight direct your path. Revaluate partnerships, pleasure and profits as you rebalance and revitalize self.

Gemini (May 21-June 21)
Ruler Mercury wraps its transit through Aries this week and in so doing, awards you with plenty of opportunity to contact friends, explore new ideas and make a plan to manifest future visions. A Saturn/Mars square forces realism when it comes to fantasy and dreams. Focus on realistic, practical means of achieving your goals. Perseverance furthers.

Cancer (June 22-July 22)
As we march toward fruition of the Aries lunar cycle, pay attention to your reputation. Have you rebuked or reprimanded anyone lately? Are you leading by example? Cardinal squares encourage realistic perspectives and self-authentic acts, but you must also recognize the value of kindness and compassion. Take a good look in the mirror.

Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Jupiter in Aquarius continues to open doors of opportunity and enhancement in areas of partnership and one-to-one relating. Be open and optimistic when dealing with others. People of great wealth and talent are in your personal sphere of experience and influence this year. Refrain from inflated egos and self-aggrandizement. Keep it real.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
The ongoing Saturn/Uranus opposition continues to push and pull, breakdown existing structures and demand that you replace what no longer works with something that does. Foundation stones may remain intact, but everything else must go. Apply revolutionary principles in an orderly fashion, clean up messes and take it one day and one step at a time.

Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
Springtime encourages exploration and discovery, fresh starts and new beginnings. This year, however, we are advised to be less impulsive and more thorough when it comes to personal agendas and desires. Pluto in Capricorn requires focus and attention to the process of accomplishment, patience and perseverance. Get in the groove and stay there. Do the work.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
The deep meaning, undercurrents and hidden forces at work in life intrigue and entice you, but this week, focus attention on what is visible and practical. Take action and maintain momentum when it comes to efforts of self-improvement and enhanced physical health. Practice thinking realistically and refrain from impulsive acts of self-destruction.

Sagittarius (
Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
Venus retrograde in your solar 5th house of romance may deliver past lovers or previous loves to your door. You may experience nostalgia or a longing for what once was and take action to recapture it. Of course, that’s not possible. It’s better to live in the present and be here now. Accept what is and do your best to learn from what has gone before.

Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
Power and control are forever issues of concern and attention for the Mountain Goat. And, these days you are looking below every rock and around every corner for ways in which to optimize both. However, to the contrary, the cosmos currently requires a redefinition of structure and authority. Old ways of controlling simply do not work. Relax and release.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Radical and revolutionary, the Aquarius archetype favors breakdowns and breakthroughs, resurrections and rebellions. While you may be unconventional and eccentric, you are also practical and realistic. These times require a combination of both, lucky you! Find the inventor within, the genius at large, the highly focused achiever and go forth.

Pisces
(Feb. 19-Mar. 20)
Personal desires and individual needs may be thwarted temporarily as cardinal squares force you to deal with other people’s issues and concerns regarding life direction and success. Surround yourself with people you admire and respect. Seek advice from wise counsel and simply do your best. Maintain momentum on your projects. Stay on task.
