Telluride’s young von Trapps speak out

Bio2 Over forty years after the film captured the hearts of millions, the legacy of "The Sound of Music," The Telluride Repertory Theatre's latest production,  lives on in the great grandchildren of Captain and Maria von Trapp – Justin, Amanda, Melanie and Sofia –  who continue the family tradition of singing together by performing all over the world.

SOM GROUP2 The seven children who starred in Robert Wise's 1965 hit movie became such popular young actors that 45 years later, audiences are still interested in what they are up to. Telluride's young von Trapps – Brittany Altman (Leisl), Jackson Blanks (Friedrich), Chambri Swartz (Louisa), Zane Jackson (Kurt), Annika Westman (Brigitta), Kira Ptak (Marta), Justus Tudor (Gretl)– are no less impressive: talented, precocious and otherwise irresistible. See for yourself by watching their videocast interview.
