When Marty Bronson (Jonathan Pryce) has to sell his mom-and-pop motel to a developer, he does so with the understanding that his son Skeeter (Adam Sandler) will eventually run the place. He does take over, but as the maintenance manager. Hoping to advance, Skeeter uses the magic of the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew to influence the design of the hotel the new owner plans to build. But magic is difficult to control…
