A 30-year resident of San Miguel County, Art Goodtimes wears many community hats – arts organizer, performing poet,county commissioner, peace activist, basketweaver and heirloom spud farmer. He was been a journalist in the community for most of those years, starting out with the Telluride Times in 1982 and working as a freelancer, reporter,editor or columnist for almost all local papers in the last three decades (with five years as a DJ and a shorter stint as radio interviewer on KOTO). Newspapers included the San Miguel Examiner, San Miguel Journal, Telluride Mountain Journal, Telluride Times-Journal, Telluride Daily Planet, Norwood Post, Norwood Naturita Nucla Watch, and the Telluride Watch.
