Hi Gordon, My name is Alice Hoffer and I was good friends (and in the same class) with your sister, Anne, at MVA, where we are about to hold an Alumni Weekend. Our class of 1966 is the 50-year honor class, and Anne would have been a part of that. I’m so sorry she’s not here
to be with us.
We are trying to put together a tribute to our classmates who have passed away and wonder if you might be willing to be contacted for whatever thoughts you might be willing to provide.
I know that someone will be contacting Margaret, too…but wanted to give you the opportunity to participate as well.

I Recently required stitches in my lower lip due to a ski injury on Sunday mid day. I Called the clinic and asked if someone was there to help. Was told the doctor would head that way. I asked what I may expect to pay and was told at least $300 because it would be an “emergency room” visit.
Dr Paul koelliker put 11 stitches in my lower lip in between making his phone calls. My total time with the doctor was maybe 20 minutes ( in between his phone calls ) . The bill came to over $1,200 but since I was paying cash was reduced to $1,035.
I returned per instructions to have the stitches removes 5 days later by a gentleman in blue scrubs with the shakes and with a questionable technique.
Gordon, with all this discussion about telluride being so in need of a newer and better facility, do you think the pricing will become a little more reasonable and the demeanor a little more personal?
